Heidi Klum Says She's 'So Proud' as Son Henry, 19, Is a Cover Star for the First Time After Making His Runway Debut

Heidi Klum’s son Henry Samuel is following in her fashionable footsteps!

After making his runway debut at Paris Fashion Week back in January, Henry, 19, can now add cover star to his résumé as he is on the front of the latest issue of Hunger magazine. And one person who couldn’t be prouder is his model mom.

“So proud of you, my beautiful Henry!” the 51-year-old captioned an Instagram post on Monday, March 17, in which she shared the striking image of Henry, taken by celebrity photographer, Rankin.

“Your first cover for @hungermagazine — what an incredible milestone,” Klum continued. “Watching you grow into the amazing young man you are today fills my heart with so much joy. The world is just beginning to see what I’ve always known—you are destined for greatness! ❤️✨ I love you @henrysamle.”

In the black-and-white image, Henry is wearing a suit by Karl Lagerfeld without a shirt while pouting at the camera lens.

Back in January, Henry — who Klum shares with her ex-husband Seal along with Leni, 20, Johan, 18, and Lou, 15 — made his runway debut at Paris Fashion Week. And once again, his mom was first to congratulate him. Sharing an Instagram video of the teen at the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025 show, the model gushed, “So proud of you Henry. Opening the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Show in Paris ❤️❤️”

Ahead of the show, Henry told Vogue Germany that he was “more excited than nervous,” about his big moment, adding that he would do his best to “enjoy every moment to the fullest!"

Henry also told the publication about the fashion tips he’s received from his mom, and his sister Leni, who is also a model.

"Leni told me to look straight ahead and walk as if I was balancing a book on my head,” he said, adding that his mother was also a stickler for “posture.”

However Henry — who graduated from high school in June — was non-comittal about whether he sees his future in fashion, insisting to Vogue that he has “many interests,” including “sports, music, film and fashion.” 

“I want to use the different creative experiences that are available to me to find the right path for my future," he added.
