Jennifer Lopez has a thing for theatrics.

For opening night of Good Night, and Good Luck at Winter Garden Theatre in New York City on Thursday, April 3, the Office Romance actress, 55, gave options for her glam as she found two ways to wear one dress.

Some red carpet shots showed J. Lo posed to perfection while wearing a strapless black gown with a plunging neckline. Draped over her shoulders was a lightly colored caftan cape that flowed down to an elaborate train.

On top of her shoulders, the garment was puffed, adding height and dimension to her look.

However, the additional piece didn’t make it to all of her pictures.

Lopez later removed the cape, giving her velvet, curve-hugging gown the attention it deserved. A thin mesh piece was added to the plunging neckline, likely to protect the Maid in Manhattan movie star from any potential wardrobe malfunctions.

She accessorized with a single necklace, featuring what appeared to be black and gold jewels with diamonds. A pair of drop earrings were added to her look.

The Unstoppable actress also wore a single ring on each hand to continue her theme of bold, statement pieces.

For her glam, Lopez went for a smokey eye and warm tones for her blush, paired with a nude glossy lip.

Her honey blonde hair was styled in a straight blowout and parted down the middle, flowing to the center of her back. The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer’s almond-shaped nails were polished in a natural, milky white shade.

She carried a black clutch for the event.

Good Night, and Good Luck, starring George Clooney, is the Broadway adaptation of the hit 2005 movie about CBS news journalist Edward R. Murrow's legendary 1954 exposé on Senator Joseph McCarthy.

Ahead of opening night, Lopez also shared news of an upcoming project she would be working on.

“From Selena to now, this journey has come full circle…SWIPE to see the big news. We’re thrilled to welcome the incredible Edward James Olmos to Office Romance!” she captioned a March 27 Instagram carousel

The social media post showed two photos — the first one was Lopez and Olmos, 78, from her breakout role in Selena, with the second image showing the duo together for their upcoming Netflix rom-com.

Lopez and her longtime manager Benny Medina will serve as producers on the film, Deadline announced in September 2024.

But the multi-hyphenate has also been making her Broadway rounds, supporting her fellow actors between her own projects.

Less than a week before breaking the news about her upcoming film, Lopez rocked a sexy, black two-piece set and dazzling diamonds for a Broadway night out with her child Emme, 17, who was also present for Good Night, and Good Luck Thursday.

"Othello premiere with the best date ever ✨," she captioned an Instagram carousel, highlighting opening night of Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal's new revival of Othello in New York City.

For their outing, the mother of two wore her hair in a sleek, pulled back style and accessorized with silver jewelry.
