On Saturday, March 29, the Stranger Things star, 21, posted a series of photos on Instagram of herself in a bikini at the beach with a can of her Florence by Mills coffee drink in hand. Brown captioned the snaps, "sunset swims." Some fans in the comments seemed a little confused about her hair. In the new images, the actress sports longer brown hair that's slicked back and appears wet as if she had just enjoyed a swim. However, only days ago, Brown revealed a bleached blonde bob in another Instagram post. "Wait, I thought you were blonde???" one person wrote in response to Brown's March 29 post. Others shared their love for her latest look. "Wow what a queen," one fan commented, amid dozens of other similarly positive reactions to the star's brunette beach look. Earlier in the week, Brown shared an Instagram Reel of herself in a bathroom, debuting what was seemingly a new blonde bob haircut while promoting her Florence by Mills Soft Girl Sheer Vanilla Hair and Body Mist. On the March 10 episode of the SmartLess podcast with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes, the actress shared that growing up in the spotlight and onscreen has made her wary of social media, and revealed that she does't run her own accounts. "I don't mind being out of the loop," she noted. Still, her social media accounts are often very personal. A week before the podcast interview, Brown called out the media and cyberbullies for fixating on her appearance in a video shared on her Instagram.
