"A more customizable OS." Posted 2022-08-15
Pros: 1. It is more customizable according to the personal taste.
2. The security updates are frequent.
3. It is not limited to only Google devices, but can be run on almost any device.
4. Application can also be side loaded or downloaded from websites.
5. The source code is freely available.Cons: It can be made more optimized as it draws more battery and processing power of the devices compared to other alternatives like Apple iOS.
Overall: Overall, Android is the best operating system for people who like customization. It is available for all the devices and does not limit the user in any way.

"Great mobile OS with some rough edges" Edited 2022-08-10
Pros: - very configurable without jailbreaking/hacking required
- great support for Google services and workspace features
- frequent, stable security updates
- some built in privacy options
- runs on just about any hardware, not just Google devices
- great developer experience compared to competitionCons: - performance, battery, and memory profile are worse than iOS on similar hardware
- UI design is not as unified as Apple
- UI is not as responsive to touch controls as iOSOverall: Android OS is a great mobile OS that offers many configuration and customizability options. It has frequent security updates, a very large app ecosystem, and is easy to develop for. However, it is not quite as performant and user-friendly as iOS.

"The perfect mobile OS for an organisation that uses Google Workspaces" Posted 2022-03-17
Pros: As part of the Google ecosystem, Android as a mobile operating system works perfectly with Google Workspaces. Easy and fuss-free synchronisation of emails, calendars, work profiles and settings. Particularly like you can easily switch on and off work mode to keep the digital boundaries between work and life in check. It's also free to use!
Cons: Support is not very personal, having to google any bugs and solutions as opposed to being able to speak to someone about it. But that's to be expected for a company as big as Google. No other downsides so far. Been using Android as a mobile operating system for my personal use, and have not found any downsides of using it for work as well.
Overall: It is an easy to use mobile operating system that integrates very nicely and easily with Google Workspaces. Would highly recommend it as the mobile OS of choice for any organisation that uses Google Workspaces.

"Full function OS with plenty of hand holding" Posted 2021-09-13
Pros: Android OS allows for plenty of user adaptability of their system, is built for any project you want to try on it, and works to adjust to every need you might have.
Cons: open wall design means that there are some stinker designs for it, and every hardware manufacturer skins over the base OS to create their own bloated features.
Overall: Android is messier than iOS but delivers a fantastic product. It builds on its open opportunities to allow for plenty of unique program development.

"OS that is malleable and always improving" Posted 2021-08-14
Pros: Linux based. Snappy. Built to work primarily for touch screens. Adapted for home work environments. Always looking to add and improve. User customization encouraged.
Cons: Because so many devices have an android OSs but are slightly modified, the is a dissonance in features and UI from device to device.
Overall: It would be very hard to go back to iOS after being with Android for so long. So many features with so much customization given to the user.
