Yes, the rumors are true!!

Neil Haley, host of BlogTalk Radio's The Total Tutor Show has been negotiating for sometime to get me to appear live on his Internet radio show.

Months of talks had commiserated between Neil and The Crack Team as we were waiting for our demands to be made. Finally, in fact just this morning, Neil finally caved to the demands of The Crack Team and I will be live, on air, talking with Neil and taking phone calls.

Nothing will be off topic. For those who remember my own Internet radio show, those who have heard me live on WFAS-AM, and for readers of this blog, there is nothing that I will not share my honest opinion of.

This all takes place tomorrow night, July 15 at 11 PM EDT.

My first real encounter with Shaun Johnson, aka The Chalk Face, came about 2 1/2 years ago in one of those classic Twitter mash-ups.

I started getting into it with the commandant, Kyle Olson, of the über Right Wing, paranoid, and meshuga, education "advocacy" news aggregator, Education Action Group News. EAG News staff like to call themselves reporters or journalists, but really a bunch of hacks that troll the Internet for bad stories about teachers or liberal leanings of schools and in their best FOX News method make the story worse than it is.

But it was a few fun days batting around Kyle as would a cat do to a mouse before it goes in for the kill. I think at one point I had a producer at FOX News agree to have Shaun and myself on against Kyle, but Kyle demurred and wouldn't agree to do the show. Eventually he blocked us both. Oh well.

Shaun and I have stayed in touch off and on through the years. I have always had a great deal of respect for him and feel bad I got him involved in a little of my Twitter tiffs this summer.

I have a lot of respect for Shaun. He is very smart, very aware, and most of all, quite low key, but brutal when he sees a wrong.

So today I was on his Blogtalk radio show and we spoke for 45 minutes. We touched on many things, tenure, my lawsuit, and everything that is tied into both.

My guest works in a District 26 MS. She has been with the DOE for 12 years. Her current principal hired her at his school.  She went back into the classroom signed a grievance, got a U rated lesson. She then became chapter leader and never got anything but U ratings.She is now facing termination charges for incompetence based on 3 years of observations that are poorly written fiction. There has to be someone to look into all of the authority that principals are being given.  The evil villains are being trained en mass at the Leadership Academy and then are continuing to be empowered by the Teacher Performance Unit (TPU).A good teacher removed and subject to this humiliation while the DOE pays an "attorney", to write up formalized papers  Her finger prints are flagged, so that all chance of extra income, tutoring, camp counselor, is lost. She has lost so many employment opportunities due to this man's vendetta.  Some attention needs to be paid to the smoke and mirrors of Last In First Out as that whole argument just allows the DOE to prosecute tenured teachers and have them removed. If we examined this issue more closely, we would see that this same principal has brought these charges on 3 teachers in less than 6 months, all of whom earn at least $76,000. In essence if this attack is successful and this principal does in fact win all of the cases he will have managed to cut $250,000.00 from his budget.
