BEWARE THE CLOWN

I was once a disciple of The Clown. I learned through trial and error that The Clown wore no clothes, just shiny clown underpants.

Sadly, not all others have seen just The Clown's shiny underpants.

Mr Shlimazel, followed blindly to the point where his career is now in jeopardy. He has emailed Randi Weingarten, Betsy Combier and others incessantly calling them c**ts. He has harassed a federal judge to the point where US Marshalls have had to visit him and have a "talk."

Yesterday, in reaction to a comment on this blog I incurred Mr Shlimazel's wrath. On a Facebook thread he commented...

"your wife told me she's mentally ill at your 3020-a and only a mentally person could not notice that you're a faggot...are you a sick man that has his wife use a fake dick?"

"Now you have reason to write about me."

So I am now writing with Mr Shlimazel's blessing.

Wow, throwing the old family thing in there huh? Wonder under whose (or is it who's?) tutelage he learned that strategy? Could it have been The Clown's? Funny thing is this person was never at my 3020-a.

But then the texts started...

"Only a mental ill would marry you dagger."

"Get some dick."

"Be a real man faggot."

"You know people think you are a faggot." 

"Seriously...come out of the closet because you're hurting yourself and your wife...it is 2018 and you don't need to be in the closet...you're more of a woman than your wife, faggot."

I made a mistake and I will cop to it. It was with the best of intentions.

This is very early in 2016. I had a good relationship with this person. At the time I had one with Betsy. Betsy and a friend of hers were being harassed non stop by this person (I have seen the emails). I read the emails that Mr Shlimazel and The Clown were sending.Mr Shlimazel was being vile and causing undo consternation to women. I spoke to him. I tried to clam him down. But in what in my lay opinion was OCD, he wouldn't listen. Betsy and her friend were seriously considering filing criminal charges. I told him that what he was doing can be construed as a crime.

Long story short The Follower just continued and continued with the emails to Betsy, the entire UFT, Randi Weingarten, PERB, and Judge Cogan of the Eastern District of New York. Oh dang, I forgot about the emails (And by emails, we are talking in an OCD (What seems to be to the lay person) manner. Chancellor Farina, US Attorney's office, every journalist in NYC, maybe even Hank Steinbrenner. Who knows?

So yesterday I mentioned to him that he is going off the deep end. I had to. My wife was getting scared. Tried to calm him down. When I asked if he learned from the US Marshalls visit he replied that he will...

"...do it again"

Oh and about Randi....

"She will pay for her sins."

And then, I get a text saying...

 "tell your Grand Leech  (Randi), i will stop (emailing he means) if i can get out 75%  pay on mental disability from the DoE....this way it is a win/win I don't see the DoE and they don't see me...leaving the DoE is a win"

"Or i keep it up until i get justice"

And of course me, I am at the center of this all. I had lunch with Cogan, Betsy and Randi, and we seemed to have planned this out.

Jeesh.

I don't know if to feel sorry for Mr Shlimazel. He made his made. He decided to join The Clown's cult and be played like a dime store floosey. Go to PERB he was told. The chances of winning at PERB are slim and none. Bryan Glass encouraged to go to PERB first for one reason. To get those who are doing bad under oath and on the record. Did The Clown tell Mr Shlimazel this?

In my opinion, he's lost his mind as a plaintiff in his oft dismissed federal lawsuit and is about to lose it in the lawsuit he is involved in as a defendant along with The Clown. He needs to look across the table at the next court date and see The Clown for what he is. If not for The Clown, Mr Shlimazel might still be of sound mind.

All this for what? Getting a U for a per session gig. Boo fucking hoo. I can rattle off 10 teachers in 10 seconds who have had it much worse. This behavior not worth losing one's job, life, or liberty.

Mr Shlimazel needs to high tail it to New York Hospital in White Plains. There is a psych ER there and are affiliated with GHI/Emblem.

I made a mistake today.

A dear friend, many know her, posited something on Facebook today and tagged many people. I had engaged with a poster that for some reason was able to see through the grime of Solidarity.

He seemed to be towing some kind of official Solidarity party line of "why can't we all just work together," and of course myself, Norm Scott, and a few others chimed in.

Soon Portelos trolled his way into the thread and to paraphrase Jean-Luc Picard (or was it Q?) I had "engaged the Portelos."

I still have a headache.

One thing led to another and I had mentioned how that several members---ooops, I meant, followers, of UFT Solidarity were not UFT members such as Victor Jordan and Christina Vickers (She's a blog post for another day!). And that these members are in positions to make decisions for UFT members.

So instead of engaging like a grown up, or even a 14 year old, Portelos does something even stranger. If that is possible.

The coffee shop reference I guess is about when I was hoping wayyyyyy back in July that we could settle our differences. But knowing Portelos, there is more.

However, I wish I had some clarification on this so I can better prepare myself.

Was this a scare tactic? To scare me into doing what or away from?

A bullying tactic? Maybe. Portleos has bullied in the past when he does not get his way just like a during block time in Kindergarten.

A threat? Nah, clowns are supposed to make people laugh.

A dog whistle for the sycophantic, mindless, brainwashed, followers? Could be.


Here is what one should ask themselves. Why is Portelos even spending more than .000000001 seconds of his life to find where Norm and I live? What, gratification, does he get from this? Does he get some kind of perverse excitement?

I don't know about where Norm lives, but there is not much to do here in West Harrison (Perhaps a West Harrsion Travelogue is in order?). But Portelos and/or his followers are in luck!

West Harrison is just less than a mile from beautiful downtown White Plains! Now, the 5 bus of the Bee-Line system can be caught at the White Plains Metro-North Station or if already staying in White Plains the 5 bus can be caught on Hamilton Ave or Lake St which will get you just into West Harrison.


There is a lake, Silver Lake, in West Harrison. Don't expect to swim or fish in there. It's polluted. Probably from all the baseballs hit into hit from the ball field that parallels it.

But enough kidding aside. Time to be serious.

If this kind of behavior by Portelos does not make those who follow him or those about to get sucked in question if he is the right person to not only be a union leader but to even run a caucus those same people must be questioned as well.

It's funny, the same people who are so vehemently against Mulgrew for his bullying tactics support Portelos. Why is that? It's like an physcially abused spouse leaving the abuser and marrying another physical abuser.

Solidarity people, open your eyes. Not only is Portelos despised at the DOE, where one must be able to get along if a UFT president, he his seen as a joke at the UFT as well as a clown. Yeah, I know, that's par for the course, but there are good people 52 Broadway and he has burned those bridges.

Solidarity people, and I know there are a lot of you that are questioning him. Are you afraid if you speak up he will go after you or your loved ones? If so, you have plenty of places to turn to for support. If so, you can stick up for yourself and not be kowtowed by him.

Solidarity people, pay attention to this next sentence. PORTELOS WILL NEVER BE UFT PRESIDENT. Sparkles my cat has a better chance.

It is time to run very fast and very far from Portelos and Solidarity.

I'd bet my bottom dollar Portelos has dossiers on everyone. Secrets to share just waiting for the right moment.

Something just ain't right.

We are going to go off the beaten track here today and instead talk about one of New York State's most underrated vacation spots, White Plains, NY (Disclaimer: This is not a paid blog post).

Why White Plains? Why not? White Plains central located in, and is the county seat of, Westchester County. White Plains is 10 square miles and has a population of 57,866, but a daytime population of 250,000. For those history buffs, White Plains was where the Declaration of Independence was read for the first time in New York State. The Battle of White Plains in the Revolutionary War was also fought here along the banks of the Bronx River near the Metro-North train station in the area known as Battle Hill.

But you ask, "How can I get to White Plains?"

White Plains is served directly by the Bronx River Parkway and Interstate 287 better known at the Cross Westchester Expressway. The BRP let's you off in downtown while 287 loops around downtown but you will be close enough.

If you don't have a car you can take Metro-North to the fabulous and modern White Plains station. There you will find plenty of taxi's and right across the street is the White Plains transcenter where one can catch the Bee-Line buses for trips through White Plains. There fare is only $2.75 and you can pay in cash or Metro-Card!

If you don't want to take the train you can fly into Westchester County Airport which is just a few miles north of the city. There is no scheduled direct flights from the three major NYC airports, but if you are self-important enough you can get a private plane from Teterboro to fly you there.

"Where can I stay?"

White Plains has many hotels to stay at. The Crowne Plaza where I stayed on my wedding night. Residence Inn, the new and exciting Cambria Suites, and of course the Ritz Carlton. All these hotels are within walking distance of downtown.

But what if you are on a budget? Or not really important enough to stay at these hotels? Then the Central Motel Court on Central Ave right near the Greenburgh border is the place for you. Not only do they have day rates, but rates by the hour. Don't worry, the Bee Line 20 bus stops right in front and will get you into downtown in 5 minutes.

"Where can I dine?"

White Plains has become a restaurant haven, especially along Mamaroneck Ave. Too numerous to list here but just follow this link. But most of these restaurants only take the really important. For those less important we recommend the snack bar at Target, Five Guys, Kennedy Fried Chicken on Post Rd, and my favorite place, Tu Pais Deli on the corner of Fisher Ave and Bank St. I worked there in the late 80's under former ownership and it was a different name. Tell them The Crack Team sent you and get a cup of joe on the house!

"Where Can I Shop?"

White Plains is a shopping haven. There is The Westchester Mall which is for the really truly self important, the Galleria, Mamaroneck Ave, The City Center, and of course Wal-Mart,where we know we can't go. Also don't forget The Source. And lest we forget, Bloomingdale's. Bloomies just doesn't allow anyone to shop there, I should know. I worked there 30 years ago.

"Where can I be entertained?"

There is the Westchester County Center, home of the NBA D-League Westchester Knicks, and the movies at the City Center. And many of the restaurants and pubs along Mamaroneck Ave have live music.

"What touristy things are there to do?"

The Jacob Purdy House, Elijah Miller House, White Plains Armory, Percy Grainger Home and Studio, and the the Bar Building are some of the fun things you can do. Make sure you have your cameras ready!!

"What happens if suddenly I go mental and start believing I am the Second Coming, or that I am the Queen of England, or Mussolini, just plain paranoid, or just off my meds?"

You are in luck! New York Hospital, Westchester Division runs one of the leading mental health care hospitals in the country in White Plains. Offered up is in patient and out patient facilities and a place where the psychiatrists work with you to find the right meds for you. All insurance is taken!
