Aarav Bhatia, the son of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, has been gaining the limelight after being spotted at Huma Qureshi’s Eid Celebrations with his cousin, Simar Bhatia. While the 22-year-old maintained distance from the film industry and media attention, Bhatia’s connection with the Bollywood royalty Rajesh Khanna has made the netizens curious about his life apart from the lights and flashes.

Aarav Bhatia's different lifestyle

In an interview with Shikhar Dhawan, Akshay Kumar revealed that Aarav has been a simplistic child who isn’t interested in films. The focus has always been on fashion, sports, and martial arts. “I am happy the way Twinkle and I have brought up Aarav; he is a very simple boy. My daughter, on the other hand, likes clothes… We never forced him to do anything; he is interested in fashion; he doesn’t want to be a part of cinema. He came to me and said that ‘I don’t want to do films.’ I said, ‘This is your life, do what you want to do, ’” Kumar mentioned.
To have an independent lifestyle away from Bollywood, Bhatia left his house when he was 15 years old. Pursuing his passion, Kumar’s eldest son is studying fashion at a University in London. While Kumar mentioned that he did not want to let him go at such a young age, he couldn’t help but recall that he himself left his home when he was 14 - to pursue his passion.
