Late actor Rajesh Khanna was Bollywood’s first superstar and won many hearts with his acting. Interestingly, he shares his birthday with his daughter, Twinkle Khanna, who is also celebrating today. Long ago, Rajesh Khanna had said he believed Akshay Kumar’s son, Aarav, would grow up to be a big film star too.
A Superstar’s Prediction for His Grandson
In an old interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rajesh Khanna shared his belief that his grandson Aarav would be the next big superstar in films. He said Aarav would carry the same talent, hard work, and dedication seen in their family.
Akshay Kumar on Aarav’s Independent Life in London
In 2024, Akshay opened up about his son Aarav on Shikhar Dhawan’s talk show Dhawan Karenge. He shared that Aarav is currently studying at a university in London and left home at 15. Although Akshay didn’t want him to go, he respected Aarav’s decision—especially since he himself had left home at 14.


The actor further shared that Aarav lives independently—doing his own laundry, cooking, washing utensils, and even buying second-hand clothes from a thrift store because he dislikes waste. Akshay mentioned they never pressured him into anything. Aarav is interested in fashion and has clearly said he doesn't want to join the film industry, which Akshay fully supports.

Praising Twinkle’s Role in Parenting
He also praised his wife Twinkle Khanna for how they’ve raised Aarav. He said, “I’m happy with how Twinkle and I have brought up Aarav; he’s a very simple boy.” He added with a smile that their daughter, Nitara, is quite the opposite and loves clothes.
