A video appears to show the moment emergency workers on a plane rushed to help prominent Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny after a suspected poisoning attempt.
On Thursday morning, Navalny's spokeswoman Kira Yarmish tweeted that he had fallen ill during a flight from Tomsk, Siberia, to Moscow.
Yarmish said the plane made an emergency landing in Omsk, a city between Tomsk and Moscow, and Navalny was taken to the hospital.
"We assume that Alexei was poisoned with something mixed into his tea. That was the only thing he drank this morning," Yarmish said.
A video shared widely on social media — first posted to Instagram Stories by a passenger onboard the same flight named DJ Pavlin — appears to show medics attending to Navalny.
