Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Doggett, of the M. E. Church. A communication was received from the House of Delegates, announcing the passage of sundry bills. A joint resolution requiring R. M. Nimmo to execute a new official bond by the 29th March, 1862, and, in the event of his failure to do so, providing for his removal from office, was, on motion of Mr. Coghill, laid on the table. Resolution. Mr. Newton offered the following joint resolution; which was adopted: Resolved,solutions of the General Assembly, passed March 22d, 1861, be and the same is hereby rescinded. Mr. Coghill moved to take up the joint resolution requiring R. M. Nimmo, Penitentiary Storekeeper, to execute a new official bond before the 29th of March, 1862. The motion was agreed to; whose upon, Mr. Coghill moved to amend the resolution by striking out the 29th and inserting the 31st March. The amendment was adopted, and the resolution, as amended, was agreed to. Bills passed
