[We have received the following, and take great pleasure in preserving in our records this tribute of Louisiana to the Old Dominion.] Commonwealth of Virginia, Governor's office, Richmond, June 20th, 1884. Dr. J. William Jones, Editor, &c., Southern Historical Magazine, Richmond, Va.: Dear Sir,—I have received from Mr. John M.
