Tarbox, increase Niles 1815-1888
Author; born in East Windsor, Conn., Feb. 11, 1815; graduated at Yale College in 1839; studied theology and became pastor of a Congregational church in Framington, Mass., in 1844; later was made secretary of the American College and Education Society of Boston.
His publications include The curse, or the position occupied in history by the race of Ham; Life of Israel Putnam, Major-General in the Continental army; Sir Walter Raleigh and his colony in America, etc. He died in West Newton, Mass., May 3, 1888.
