Mayor's Court. --The case of Jesse, slave of Wm. W. Jones, mentioned by us yesterday as having been arrested for stealing four pairs of shoes from Mr. James Bolton, was brought up before this Court yesterday morning; but it appearing that several of Jesse's accomplices in the theft were still at large, he was committed to jail for future investigation. The case of R. L. Saunders, the Hollywood Cemetery thief, was also postponed because of the non appearance of Mr. James Ryon, the principal witness; who arrested Saunders whilst he was in the act of breaking a lock from an enclosure in the cemetery.--The Mayor fined Mr. Ryon ten dollars for his falling to appear. Frank, a young negro fellow, slave of Mr. Reuben Ragland, of Petersburg, was charged with attempting to run off to the Yankees. Frank had been arrested and sent into Court by order of Major Carrington, Provost Marshal, for attempting to obtain a passport to go to Charles City on a pass that he had written himsel
