Judge Edmonds called the meeting to order, and nominated for presiding officer the Hon. Daniel P. Ingraham, of the Supreme Court.
The motion was acceded to amid loud cheers.
Mr. Charles E. Whitehead put in nomination the following list of Vice-Presidents:
Hon. Samuel R. Betts,
Hon. J. J. Roosevelt,
Hon. John T. Hoffman,
Hon. Thos. W. Clerke,
Hon. C. P. Daly,
Hon. Greene C. Bronson,
Hon. Daniel Lord.
William Allen Butler put in nomination the following list of Secretaries:
Gilbert Dean,
Hon. Chas. A. Peabody,
E. W. Stoughton,
Richard O'Gorman.
These nominations were acceded to unanimously.
Three cheers were called for the Americana flag, and responded to enthusiastically.
Judge Edmonds said: In behalf of the Committee of Arrangements I offer the following resolutions for the consideration of the meeting.
