who should enlist for three years military service, when mustered in and credited to the quota of the town, and to provide for the maintenance of the soldiers' families according to law, also for the widows and children of deceased soldiers. Alfred Kittredge, George Wingate Chase, Robert Hassall, and James H. Carleton were appointed to draft suitable resolutions in honor of those who have fallen on the field of battle from this town, and report at the next town-meeting. On motion of Rev. J. W. Hanson, N.
