ad arrived at Brandy Station about mid way between Culpeper C. H. and the Rappahannock river. His rear was much annoyed by our cavalry, who had captured several prisoners, and killed and wounded many of the retreating Yankees. It is stated that there are 3,500 Yankees in Culpeper county.
