Hustings Court, yesterday. #x2014;The Court fined John Stewart $10 for allowing his slave to go at large, and recommended to Governor Letcher to exempt F. W. Hall, City Jailor, from militia duty — Jas Clarks was acquitted of stealing $75 from Louis Antone, on the 10th of June, 1861.--Jas. Austin was sent on for trial before Judge Lyons, for stealing 16 car springs from the Virginia Central road. The same order was entered in the case of Christopher Kissell, charged with receiving the property.--Attachments were issued against several parties failing to attend as witnesses.

If, when he reports to the officer whose company he selects to be mustered in, the maximum number required for such company shall have been made up, he shall be assigned by the General in command to some other company not completed. Captains of militia companies or commandants of detachments who allow such changes of service, shall forthwith make out a list of the men to whom the change has been allowed, and the company and place of rendezvous to which they are ordered, and return the same forthwith to the Adjutant General, together with the obligation signed by each man, herein before required. We will have Virginia independent and all our liberties maintained, or perish in the attempt to secure them.
