Georgia Legislature. Milledgeville, Nov. 29.--Mr. Meloney, of Clarke, introduced a bill in the House to-day providing for prohibiting the levying of executions issued from United States Courts, on the property of citizens of Georgia, prior to December, 1861, declaring void all such processes. The bill to protect the rights of citizens of Georgia was debated. Mr. Lewis, of Greene, ordered an amendment, extending the provisions of the bill to citizens of every State that voted for Lincoln, which was agreed to. Mr. McDonald, of Lumpkin, opposed the bill and amendment, and expressed warm Union sentiments. He offered an amendment proposing to fine every Georgian two thousand dollars who sells a bale of cotton or a barrel of apples to any person north of Mason and Dixon's line! The amendment caused much commotion, and during the discussion which ensued conservative sentiments were freely uttered.--The bill was made the special order of the day for Friday next, when an exciting

-In the paragraph below the Bovay mentioned is a member of the Wisconsin Legislature, who was engaged in the rescue of Booth from Deputy United States Marshal Taylor, when the mob was headed by Mr. Daniels, the State geologist. A letter from Marshal Lewis says that even the women threatened him with shovels when he went to make the arrest.--The paragraph is from the Milwaukee Democrat of the 23d inst: Marshal Lewis arrested one Bovay (who had previously submitted himself for arrest,) at RMarshal Lewis arrested one Bovay (who had previously submitted himself for arrest,) at Ripon yesterday morning, and was about taking the cars when a sleigh load of citizens came up and told Mr. B. he should not go.--Bovay replied he had promised to go and go he would. After a brief altercation in regard to the matter, the citizens forcibly took the prisoner and carried him home. Skating. --Dr. Lewis, in his Journal, says it is very doubtful if skating be one of our best exercises. It is not quite free from danger to life and limb, while such rapid motion through a keen, cutting atmosphere, by those who live mostly in high furnace first in certainly a very questionable venture. Every year, since skating became the rage, thousands of lungs have been seriously compromised by this violent change. Skating is excellent for hardy people, and for those much accustomed to exposure, but it is to be used with great caution by those who live in heated parlors.
