A Ministerial call. --At a recent business meeting held by the members of the Second Baptist Church of this city, the pastorship lately rendered vacant by the resignation of Rev. L. W. Seeley, was tendered to Rev. J. R. Kendrick, formerly pastor of Citadel Square Baptist Church, of Charleston, S. C., who we learn will, in all probability, respond favorably to the call. The reputation of this gentleman as an able divine and brilliant orator cannot do otherwise than give entire satisfaction to the member of that church, as well as greatly add to the number of its congregation.
