Condemned to death. --Hiram, a negro, belonging to Mrs Stephens, of Greene county, was tried before the County Court of Rockingingham, on Monday last, for committing a rape on a respectable old lady of this county, and convicted. He was sentenced to be hung on Friday, the 27th of September next.
