my. Deserved his fate. The dead body of John H. Ervine, of Macome, McDonough county, Illinois, was found on the bloody field of Manassas. The Rockingham Register says: The father of this young man, we learn, once lived in Rockingham county, Va., from whence he removed to the State in which he now resides.
