The cavalry under Kilpatrick, which made the recent raid around Lee's army and came down to Yorktown, have marched across the Peninsula to Newport News Point, and are to-day embarking for Portsmouth, Va., from which place they will march on Suffolk, where General Heckman is quite seriously threatened by the enemy, said to be 20,000 strong.
