There is a rumor this morning that Thomas has attacked and again routed and captured the most of Hood's fragmentary army, but it needs confirmation. Another, dated the 30th , says: Thirteen railroad trains, with the first train through from Chattanooga, arrived this evening, and communication will be regularly kept up.--Thomas's headquarters were at Pulaski last night, our advance closely following Hood, who is believed to be trying to cross the Tennessee river.
