Resolved, 1st. That the Senate of Mississippi most hMississippi most heartily participates in the universal rejoicing of the people of the State of Mississippi and of the Confederate States, over the late brilliState of Mississippi and of the Confederate States, over the late brilliant victories achieved by the Confederate arms.
2d.
