Singular and fatal accident.
--The Mississippi Tallahatchina notices the death of Mr. John A. Hawkins, the result of a singular but fatal accident, on Tuesday last.
He was riding, in company with other young men, across a cotton field on the plantation of Mr. A. J. Allen, near town, when his mule, becoming unmanageable, threw him off. The fall caused a rupture of some internal organ, and he died in thirty minutes after.
