--Ranaway from my factory in Danville, on Sunday, June 1st, my negro man Thornton, who calls himself Thornton Gregory.
It is supposed that he will attempt to get to Richmond.
I will give the above reward on his delivery to me in Danville, or to Mr. Coleman Wortham in Richmond.
The raton is of black complexion, about five feet ten inches high, spare make, is a boy of good countenance.
He had on when he left dark pants and coat and a light vest.

--A reward of $5 will be paid for negro boy John, about 12 years of age, who was hired to Mrs. Jane Cox, on Main, near 7th st., and who left her premises on or about the 22d June last.
It is thought he is at the camp of the 1st Reg. Va. Cavalry, as he was last seen going with them about that time from the city.
He is owned by Wm. A. Hunan, of Northumberland county, Va; is black, and very well grown.--No marks or scars recollected.

--Gen. Winder, commanding the Department of Henrico, has appointed Lieut. Trabue General Superintendent of the different Yankee prisons.
His special business is to see that the guard do their duty.
Lieut. Trabue was formerly a member of the Richmond Howitzers and instructor in artillery practice at Camp Lee.
