ἐπιδι^κ-άζω ,
A.adjudge property in dispute to one, of the judge, . κλῆρόν τινι Is.11.26, D.48.26:—Pass., ἐπιδεδικασμένου καὶ ἔχοντος τὸν κλῆρον having had it adjudged to one and being in possession, Id.43.7: abs., Lexib.16.
II.. Med., of the claimant, go to law to establish one's claim, Pl.Lg.874a, PGnom.28,40 (ii A.D.); ἔχω . . τὸν κλῆρον ἐπιδικασάμενος I have obtained it by a lawsuit, Is.11.19.
