Sentenced to Death for counterfeiting Treasury notes.

--Judge Magrath, presiding over the Confederate Court at Greenville, South Carolina, pronounced sentence last Wednesday upon Thomas Marquand, William Williams and Henry Marquez, found guilty of counterfeiting Confederate Treasury notes. Marquand is to be executed in Columbia on the 16th of September, and Williams and Marques on the 23d.
