NB: Originally Cuba had been drawn by lot to face the Dominican Republic, when the latter withdrew, the Netherlands 
    Antilles was admitted at the last minute; however, they also withdrew.
    According to the Aruba newspaper "Diario", the Federation of the Netherlands Antilles (NAVU), received in March 1983 
    (two weeks before the first game), a communication from FIFA informing that the Netherlands Antilles should play in Cuba. 
    The NAVU decided not to participate, because it would take at least a month to prepare a selection as well as the 
    administrative procedures.
