1. As Provincial Manager (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & Federally Administered Tribal Areas), Pakistan Settlements Flood Recovery
Programme (PSFRP)
Provided home office management support on a day-to-day basis in the areas of logistics, recruitment, and budgeting.
Overall project management and implementation of the Programme which included components of Shelter, WASH, Infrastructure,
Social Mobilization, Behavioural Change, Community Organizations etc, in the Provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally
Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan.
Liaised with the Provincial Government and facilitated UN-HABITAT in negotiations and entering into agreements with public,
private and citizen organizations.
Carried out operational management of projects, ensuring outputs according to the project document, and procedures in the
Project Cycle Operations Manual and SOPs.
Prepared and revised the project work plans, budgets and financial plans.
Overall project management and implementation of the Programme in the target areas.
Liaison with the Provincial Government counterparts.
Convened meetings of Land Management Committee of UN-HABITAT Pakistan to discuss land matters and to share the progress
of land programmes of UN-HABITAT Pakistan.

3. As Programme Manager (ERRA'S Programme for Virtually Landless People of the Earthquake affected areas of KPK and AJK)
Provided home office management support on a day-to-day basis in areas of logistics, recruitment, and budgeting.
Independently managed the Project in all aspects of project management, coordination and monitoring.
Worked closely with Social Protection ERRA, State and Provincial officials, Land Verification Unit and Grievance
Redress Committee members in (previously NWFP, now KPK) and AJK.
Frequently visited areas to liaise with ERRA Social Protection, State/Provincial, District and Tehsil level Officials
for effective implementation.
In close coordination with the Finance Department reviewed budgets regularly and made subsequent suggestions
for revision of different aspects of the project work plan if needed.
Achievements
As Provincial Manager (PSFRP),with Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) regularly co-chaired KPK Working Group

meetings. Vetted numerous project proposals of organizations applying for No Objection Certificate (NOC) from PDMA. Successfully
completed PSFRP, under which 2,000 shelters, around 1,900 latrines and a number of Community Infrastructures (including Micro
Hydel Power Plants and Suspension Bridges) were completed in Districts of Charsadda, Nowshera, Upper Dir and Lower Dir in KPK for
Extremely Vulnerable families including women headed and child headed households. Rehabilitation of 29 floods affected primary
schools in District Nowshera, under UNHCR funding.
As Manager Housing, Land & Property Rights (HLP) researched, developed tools and identified best practices on the implementation
of equal rights to land, housing and property rights, particularly for women, including inheritance and marital property rights and
elements of urban upgrading related to regularization, land use, a range of pro-poor flexible tenure types and affordable land
management options. Conducted 35 training sessions on HLP training manual (pro-poor tools), under which 1,317 participants were
trained out of which 76% (1,002) were female lawyers. Designed with the technical assistance of IT Unit, the Digitization of Land
Revenue Record (DLRR) through Service Delivery Centres (SDC) of UN-Habitat in KPK. Supervised HLP training intervention for
different stakeholders. Organized learning experience workshops to evaluate HLP training sessions.
As Programme Manager (ERRA'S Programme for Virtually Landless People of the Earthquake affected areas of KPK and AJK), under
this Programme, more than 14,400 families benefited and got access to safer land to built safer houses, out of the total co-owners 45%
were women including children. As Head of Monitoring and Evaluation Team ensured the effectiveness of reporting systems for the field
staff. Developed and implemented IT based Monitoring and Evaluation solutions (Land Information Management System-LIMS).
Achievements
Conducted Training Needs Assessment (TNA) and submitted the reports on gaps analysis, which forms the basis of under process
guidebook for the members of District Monitoring Committees.
Developed training curriculum for the members and stakeholders of District Monitoring Committees.
Undertook regular visits to the focused districts to monitor the quality of training imparted by the resource group

Community Citizen Boards (CCBs) in the Punjab and NWFP.
