I have known Mr Amit Agarwal since last 3 years as a student of Lala Lajpatrai College’s
Bachelors in Management Studies Programme. I have taught him 3 subjects namely Strategic
Management, Service Sector Management and International Marketing over a period of 3
Semester’s. His theoretical understanding of the courses is very good and he has shown
excellent results.

I have found Mr Amit Agarwal to be a highly committed student who is single- minded in his
pursuit of academic excellence. He has not only been outstanding in academics as he has
achieved quite much in the due course of 3 years, he has successfully scored highest marks in
Production and Quality Management, Production and Materials Management and has ranked
3rd in college in his second year and has also secured highest marks in Human Resource
Management in his Final year, over and above choosing all financial electives in both the
final years, but has also performed well in extra- curricular activities like participating in a
national seminar on “Structural Pattern of Financial Sector-Banking Problems and
Prospectus”, taking part and securing a 3rd position in a management quiz organized during
the BMS week within college or might it be taking part in an International Event. He has got
an impressive personality. I was also impressed by his leadership qualities and the ability to
act decisively whenever necessary. He is very attentive and well-focused on his objectives
and very hardworking.

I see Mr Amit Agarwal as a person with a very positive and sincere approach to studies and it
is likely to extend to all other aspects of his life. It also spells a potential to contribute

Without a doubt Mr Amit Agarwal is one of the finest students that I have ever taught. He is

subject of Business Mathematics, second year subject of Research Methodology and third
year subject of Operation Research. Throughout the period that he was my student, I always
found him taking keen interest in his study of the subjects. He was interested in mastery of
the subject matter, and would not be satisfied till he achieved it. He was diligent and
meticulous in completing his class assignments independently as well as in a group. While
working in a group I have noticed him taking keen interest and playing active role. The
quality and standard of his analytical work is outstanding.

As a Professor of Mechanical Engineering department at K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, it

gives me immense pleasure to recommend Mr Aditya Mhatre for graduate program at your renowned
University. I have known Aditya for three and a half years and also had the opportunity to teach him
Automobile Engineering in the Eight Semester and I have been the faculty advisor of the college
Formula Student Team – Orion Racing India. I have observed him at close quarters during my
interactions with him and would like to give an overview of his academic caliber and overall
personality.

He was sincere, punctual, regular and attentive in class. His assignments were well written and well
researched. He made the classroom sessions interactive and lively with his application oriented
questions. His diligence, intellectual curiosity, analytical skills and logic deciphering ability were
exemplary.

Aditya always thought deeply about the subjects he studied, finding them to be intellectually engaging
and worth understanding. In order to delve into the depth of the subject he took up a technical project,
Design, Fabrication and Validation of Air Intake and Exhaust System for a Formula Student Racecar,
and professor were highly impressed by it. Most importantly, he was always willing to share his
knowledge with his peers. I along with other faculty members of the department appreciated him for
his clarity of thought, in-depth understanding of the topic and lucid communication skills.

As he is keen to update his knowledge about the industrial tools he enrolled and would soon be
completing a certified course, Master Diploma in Automobile Engineering which includes softwares
like Catia, Reverse Engineering Using Catia, Catia kinematics, Ansys Workbench, NX-CAD, NX-
CAM, NX-NASTRAN, Hypermesh, CREO Parametric and a Diploma in SolidWorks from CADD
centre. His leadership, team spirit and strong technical knowledge were displayed while he
successfully implemented and demonstrated success of his methodic approached in his projects. His
work on Design of Complete Aerodynamic Package on the current car impressed me the most.

Aditya easily adopted a leadership role, helping his peers learn how to solve problems during times of
distress. He also arranged and himself conducted various seminars for his peers and juniors and made
them aware about the major breakthroughs in technology. He was also well equipped with managing
and organizing skills which enabled him to lead many events during his college tenure. He is an
extremely selfless, compassionate and an amicable student and this was evident through his
participation in varied social drives.

Overall, Aditya has a rich blend of creativity, temperament, and positive attitude. He would be a
wonderful student to have at your institution. I am sure that he will live up to the ethics and values of
