ACTIVE VOICE

Sentence structure: subject + verb + direct object

PASSIVE VOICE

Sentence structure:
 Direct object (original
sentence);
 Verb «to be»;
 Past participle;
 Agent (person)

Verb tense Passive Voice


Present Simple  Is + past participle singular
 Are + past participle plural
Past Simple  Was + past participle singular
 Were + past participle plural
Present Perfect  Has been + past participle singular
 Have been + past plural

Future Simple  Will be + past participle
