Sheet for the compilation of books for children from 3 to 4 years old
Grecia Samantha Moller Valles
Plot summary/synthesis 1. A fictional story in which a little astronaut, convinced that there is life on the red planet,
decides to go there and see it firsthand.
2. A plot, apparently simple, but that wisely introduces the complexity of the world to be
absorbed by the child-reader, outlining a reality where nothing is black or white and

everything is pregnant with depth. An initiatory journey through various levels of reality:
between waking and dreaming, between the real and the fantastic, between the
conscious and the unconscious...
3. The colored monster feels overwhelmed because inside him the emotions are crowded
together in a terrible and confusing chaos. Her friend explains the situation to her and
asks her to put each emotion in its place. In doing so we witness the nature of the most
important ones, what they mean and the need to manage them correctly.
4. Every night, looking at the starry sky, a child dreams of catching one and goes from
dream to action through imaginative plans to achieve what he wants with all his might. At
the end of the story the boy manages to make his dreams come true in a completely and
vulgarly real way.
5. The mole sticks his head out of the ground to see if the day has just started, a sausage-
shaped poop falls on his head. The proverbial lack of sight of these small animals
prevents them from seeing the culprit. Then a detective plot begins in which the mole,
with the feces for a hat, will interrogate the animals that live near him, who will show him
their feces and their way of expelling them to show him that it was not them. Finally he
meets a couple of flies “Finally someone who can help me!” Will these insects put an
end to this hilarious and scatological investigation?

Justification of the choice Unlike the books chosen for the previous sheet, each of these books tells a different story and
helps the child discover new things. These books introduce the child to what reading is, since
they have more text, although Children from 4 to 5 years old do not yet know how to read
completely, these books begin to make them even more interested and curious to know what it
says, what the story is like, among many other aspects.
