With ChatGPT’s new feature that transforms images into Studio Ghibli-inspired creations taking the internet by storm, Indian celebrities and even political figures weren’t far behind.
The trend has taken social media by storm, with politicians, film stars, and influencers sharing their AI-generated Ghibli-style images.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the first to participate, sharing his Ghibli-style illustrations on the government’s MyGov website. His caption read, “Main character? No. He’s the whole storyline. Experience through New India in Studio Ghibli strokes.”
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, initially unaware of Studio Ghibli, says he was “officially Spirited Away by this newfound revelation” after exploring the trend.
