I see this as an absolute win - EU tech businesses get bolstered, and we no longer depend on the country that apprehends tourists[1] or denies entry to scientists because their social media has unfavorable opinions about their great leader[2]. Call it whiny, I call it common sense.

Ah yes, "cancel culture" - formerly known as "consequences".


Even in positive sum games, “always nice” is not a good strategy, because when somebody is not “nice”, you will lose. This is even a larger problem when somebody has a bad behaviour multiple times in a row not by accident. This later is exactly what’s happening.


They get upset because you don’t want to join in on boycotting Trump and Musk, and right now that’s very trendy.
