Starting at 3.34 lbs and 22.8mm thick. rMBP 13 is 3.48 lbs and 18mm thick.
Similar weight but the rMBP is a fair bit thinner.

And that makes a huge difference how? I have one and they are great, but this thing has graphics card and is very powerful, on top of which it can work for 12h.

So the non-GPU base weighs 1515-726 or 789g.
