Yes, this is the point at which I exited also. I believe you'll be losing a lot of people at this point.

You should make it possible to close this dialog and store a session cookie so people can come back.

I can confirm the moment that signup box popped up... it lost me interest. I have no interest in signing up for something I do not know what it will produce.
