As a web developer, I appreciate this rare use of JavaScript in a CS lesson.



JavaScript is the language most likely to be familiar to the audience I'm trying to reach. But at a certain point, it gets in the way of explaining an idea rather than making it easier.

I think this essay stays on the right side of that trade-off.
