Why is this 99% about Steele and not the FISA warrant it set out to talk about? This memo does not make sense to me.
Edit: Trump not renewing sanctions against Russian individuals is a simpler, more importantly novel, and more easily understandable item to digest. The debunking of Steele is nothing new.
Ok, I read this. I fail to see what all the hubbub is about. Seems like the Republicans wanted to pump up that this memo was going to incriminate the Democrats' investigation in some way but all I'm reading is that the FISA warrant against Carter Page may not have been entirely appropriate, mostly because of information revealed later on? From what I can tell, this does nothing to disprove the Trump campaigns contacts with Russian officials to get dirt on Hillary Clinton. Seems like a good way to make their base think that the campaign is a, "witch hunt" and feed conspiracy theorists who will take this memo to mean far more than it does. Also it will undermine faith in the FBI once again which Republicans seem bent on doing.
