iOS has this feature already built into Safari, but it's well hidden: Long-press the reader icon.

Firefox on iOS also has this feature. Just touch the little paper sheet in the URL bar.

If the paper sheet icon is not there, prepend
about:reader?url=
to the url to activate it manually. It even works most of the time even while Firefox thinks it can't be used on this page.

That only displays the reader; it's not persistently applied to every page on the site.
