Same attitude as you. I wouldn't dare ask my parents for financial help, they've done enough.

I had a coworker whose parents paid for his college. They were low income gov't workers. He gets a good degree and starts raking in the cash and spending like no tomorrow. How could you possible do that and still look your parents in the eye?
