It hardly compares to Firebase - their main selling points is super quick to start, easy to use, very cheap, lots of integrations. Unfortunately, all alternatives to Firebase, even if not counting the large lack of features, are way more expensive, and lack many integrations, especially mobile.

My point is that sure, there is a valid use case for your service, for people who are looking for an open-source alternative they can host. But if we are talking Firebase - most users want exactly the opposite - they don't want to host their own servers. And when comparing your cloud to Firebase - you won't be able to compete on price. And probably on features and integrations. They've been building that for many years now. All I am saying is it not comparable to Firebase. But lots of people want their own hosted backend they can extend, or will be glad to pay extra for your cloud and for your unique features.
