What you're saying is true, but I still think that mine are true as well. webOS seems to be the first to have:

1. Certain features like cards, a good notification system, and requiring only HTML/CSS/JS knowledge to develop for, back in 2009

2. Currently being the only(?) mobile OS out that is designed to be also run on non-tablet/smartphone systems.

So it boils down to webOS being ahead of its time on some technical features, while marketed poorly and thus causing it to miss the boat.
