Run macOS on QEMU/KVM. With OpenCore, Big Sur, Monterey Support (github.com/kholia)

Definitely a little bit messy, but it seems to work.

Usually I stick to my MacBook Pro M1 and am not too fond of Hackintosh stuff, but I wanted to run a macOS VM on my Linux desktop and tried out the OP link. The install was a bit slow so I went for a walk. When I came back the screen of the VM was black. But after rebooting it, and selecting the volume where I installed macOS, it booted into macOS. That's what I mean by messy, since it may appear to not work when you come back to that black screen, but seems to work because it did boot fine when restarting the VM after.

Later, while it was running, the VM appeared to have hung. I have now turned off screensaver inside my VM and disabled power saving for the "display", and maybe that will make a difference.

Also, using MacVLAN and following the instructions loosely from https://www.furorteutonicus.eu/2013/08/04/enabling-host-gues... I now have the VM connected to the LAN and reachable both from the host machine and from other machines on the LAN.
