This link: https://type.method.ac/# on the page is absolutely fantastic. You have to drag letters until the kerning is proper. Will be checking out the rest of the resources soon!

The design of the site itself is not great; my brain parses the entire thing as an ad. I've thrice now opened it and closed it without really reading anything because It feels like an empty article.

I didn't explore everything, but what I did ended up being a list of lists dumped onto the page... with a list of platitudes at the end.

To be fair, that is exactly what this is.

Not sure if you’re the creator, but the “Fonts In Use” link under Design Foundations looks to be pointing to typogui.de by mistake.

Hey thanks for pointing this out! Fixing it.

A really nice collection of resources - I really like the kerning game!

I just spotted another little typo further down: Under "UX Foundations", "Getalt" should be "Gestalt".

i've been keeping my own resource list for a few years: https://github.com/sw-yx/spark-joy/

much more for developers learning a bit of design rather than designers learning to design.

just offering for anyone else interested!

Looks great, could anyone further condense this list into the 1 or 2 most essential learning materials?

Probably not. Design is varied and has a lot of pathways so it's really hard to summarize that way. But I think the best place to start if you want to be a designer in tech is Don Norman's The Design of Everyday things.
