Good point. When I'm stuck and management takes a couple days to get back to me and I have nothing to do, I take advantage of this time to learn new things. Maybe I'll read the man pages for "find" and discover a few new tricks. Or I'll read some tutorials on vim and learn some new things. I've learned a lot about MongoDB this year while waiting on roadblocks at work.
