The issue with the businesses like that is that they can easily scam tech illiterate people. My mom paid $50 for a person who literally did nothing. She had some error with the motherboard asking to press F1 or something. He did that, did some dust cleaning pretending and that was it. The computer booted, he saw Linux, told it’s some complicated setup (it’s not, a basically default Gnome system). Told her it’s some server system there and his job was done. I was furious she didn’t ask me in the first place. Not to say she could Fking just read what the computer asked her to do.
