As ITIL/CMMI/TOGAF all had to make drastic changes in the past few years and with 18F directly targeting state legislatures saying that Gantt charts are incompatible with Agile, is the scurge of Taylorism and 'strategic planning' finally going to be addressed in software?
I would expect external benchmark engagements for private companies to leverage this soon.
As Organizational change takes a long time, it is probably good to start looking at potential impacts sooner than later.
