the bounce is a bit harsh I'll admit. but the point I wanted to make was that if I don't want that
type
of message then return the message to sender.
i.e. if I don't have a to-do list app registered, don't send me a to-do.

Ah, that makes more sense. I don't make appointments over email, so bounce an invitation and they can see me in person. I've always liked the idea of email as a non-guaranteed protocol.
