By “issue that you and I would rather discuss” are you referring to the Secretary of Commerce’s unprecedented public endorsement to buy a specific stock, of which the President’s primary advisor is the majority shareholder? Because if that’s what you’re suggesting well, that’s pretty wild. Especially considering the second paragraph of the article highlights exactly what the article is about:
